Why did WG release this ship in an overpowered state? Why change GC in midst of the CV rework?ģ. Had the WoWs community been more open to rebalances, maybe she would've been rebalanced a year ago. They would have prefered to pull her from sale and pretend the world is fine, to avoid the backlash we see now. Why the other devs were hesitant, and still likely disagree, is quite obvious. Over the course of time he continuously brought this subject up, and could only push the other devs to acknowledge the need of such nerfs, but even then they did not agree. He brought up the topic of rebalancing GC a year ago, but back then the other devs refused.
This is actually obvious when you read anything that S_O regarding this rebalancing. Why is Cesare being nerfed now, and not a year ago or two? Note, I don't blame him for the mistakes he does, but I will point them out.ġ.
He could have been in any Tier VII or below Battleship fighting that North Carolina, and the NC would still perforate that armor because 380mm+ AP Overmatches the armor of Tier VII and below Battleships' bows, etc.Ī number of BBs in this very short list given are acknowledged to be rather tough. Notser also whined about the 25mm armor improvement being not enough. Arizona never had one, unless you count the sailor strapped to the superstructure with an M1903 Springfield. Fuso's AA hasn't existed in this game since WoWS launched in 2015. There is no shortage of Tier VII and below Battleships with bad AA.
